About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines, monitoring and logging systems, and configuration management.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, automation, and multi-cloud technologies.

Essential Duties

• Design and implement a scalable and reliable multi-cloud infrastructure that supports the development, testing, and deployment of our products.
• Collaborate with C2FO's product and engineering team to ensure that the DevOps infrastructure meets their needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work independently on small to medium projects that require high-level design and external dependencies while tracking and pushing the work through the process reliably.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, creating a collaborative learning and working environment.
• Provide feedback to teammates and managers to steer the team towards the team and C2FO goals.
• Solicit feedback from peers, teammates, and managers to identify improvement areas and take steps to learn and grow.
• Share, plan for, and implement new tools or processes to help the team or engineering be more collaborative, effective, or efficient.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and individuals from external teams to help C2FO reach its goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Concerned with the success of their team
• Respectful towards teammates regardless of their abilities
• Willing to mentor other engineers and be invested in their goals
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Curious to understand the work's problem space and 'why.'
• Be vigilant in identifying tech debt and continually improving how we do things.
• Persistent while facing roadblocks, dispatching them efficiently and pulling in others as necessary.
• Comfortable with source control, especially git.
• Experience with cloud platforms – AWS, GCP and Azure

Preferred Qualifications

• Passionate about solving problems for a fast-paced FinTech company.
• Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD and Azure Pipelines.
• Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and the ELK stack.
• Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and/or Chef.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure
• Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure principles.
• Experience with multi-cloud architecture and technologies.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus.
