Job Description

  • A Senior Business Development Manager (Sr BDM) leads the identification, development, and execution of strategic business opportunities; manages key stakeholder relationships; and drives revenue growth for loan products such as Personal Loans (PL), Business Loans (BL), Home Loans (HL), and Loan Against Property (LAP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop strategic business opportunities for PL, BL, HL, LAP through lead generation, market research, and networking.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across multiple loan segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, and stakeholders to drive sustained business.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts and close deals, ensuring profitability and compliance with internal policies.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, credit, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and product development.
  • Guide, train, and mentor junior business development staff, building a high-performing team.
  • Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management, including forecasts, plans, and strategic recommendations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, preferably in the finance or lending sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, execute plans, and adapt in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation abilities.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
