Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer

.We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and automation processes to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable application deployments. You will work closely with development, operations, and testing teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized environments, and maintain robust monitoring and security practices. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in cloud infrastructure management, automation, and DevOps best practices. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud operations.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment on AWS
- Automate system configuration and maintenance using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for AWS infrastructure and applications
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, collaborating with security teams to perform audits and remediation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, AWS DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Understanding of cloud security best practices
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- AWS administrator or DevOps certifications are highly desirable
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as Snowflake is a plus
