The Senior SharePoint Developer will join the Amgen India team, supporting the Global Medical Technology product function team by designing, developing, and maintaining collaboration platforms, workflow automation, and reporting solutions.
This role will ensure Global Medical Technology product teams across regions have secure, efficient, and compliant platforms to manage documentation, track approvals, collaborate effectively, and generate insights for decision-making.
As a senior technical resource, this position will also play a key role in aligning solutions with Amgen’s governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements, while mentoring junior developers and supporting best practice adoption.
Develop and maintain SharePoint Online/On-Premises sites, libraries, workflows, and permissions specifically tailored to Medical Affairs processes.
Build Power Automate flows to streamline document review, approvals, and cross-functional notifications across Medical teams.
Design Power Apps for Medical field teams and internal staff, integrating with SharePoint, Dataverse, and other data sources to track requests, feedback, and outcomes.
Develop Power BI dashboards to provide Medical leadership with visibility into key activities such as scientific engagements, medical inquiries, and compliance reporting.
Support Medical labeling, regulatory documentation workflows, and archiving processes, ensuring solutions meet compliance standards.
Work with stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Compliance to capture requirements, deliver secure solutions, and provide user enablement.
Act as a technical SME ensuring adherence to Amgen’s global standards for data security, privacy, and governance in the Medical function.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership within the Amgen India technology team.
5 - 9 years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years in SharePoint development.
Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
Experience in Medical/Regulatory document management workflows and handling approval/review processes within compliance frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Familiarity with REST APIs, SPFx, CSOM/JSOM, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to support Medical teams in time-sensitive, compliance-driven projects.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global Medical and cross-functional teams.
Experience with Azure services, Logic Apps, Dataverse, and broader Microsoft 365 integrations.
Prior exposure to pharmaceutical/biotech industry solutions, especially in Medical Affairs or Regulatory functions.
Knowledge of FDA/EMA regulatory requirements and compliance systems used in Medical functions.
Experience in Agile/DevOps delivery models.
Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture and governance frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of related professional experience (SharePoint & Power Platform).
Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or SharePoint.
Previous experience in Medical/Regulatory/Compliance-heavy environments.
