Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our Accounts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial health, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and finalizing accounts. The role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation (including GST), and other statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finalization of Accounts
● Manage the preparation and finalization of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, MIS etc.,) in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
● Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and maintain proper
documentation.
2. GST and Taxation
● Handle all matters related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) including filing returns (GSTR1 and GSTR3B), reconciliation with GSTR2, and addressing notices.
● Ensure compliance with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and other direct and indirect tax requirements.
● Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants to handle tax assessments and audits.
3. Statutory Compliance
● Ensure timely submission of all statutory returns and filings.
● Keep updated with changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, and other statutory regulations.
● Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
4. Financial Planning and Control
● Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and financial interests.
● Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
5. Team Management and Coordination
● Lead and supervise the Accounts team, providing guidance and training.
● Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory
authorities.
● Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Skills and Competencies:

脥� Expertise in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
脥� Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally etc.).
