Sr. Accountant

We are looking for a highly competent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in the hand tools industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance with statutory regulations. You will oversee accounts payable and receivable, perform monthly and annual closings, and prepare financial statements that support business decision-making. A key part of the role involves collaborating with production, procurement, and sales departments to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation—critical aspects in a manufacturing and distribution-driven industry like hand tools. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a senior position, and should be proficient in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, while a CA or equivalent certification is preferred.
