Sr. Accountant Executive

You will be joining GrowiT India, the agricultural arm of Alpha Plastomers Private Limited, as a Senior Accountant in Surat. Your role will involve managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and mentoring junior staff. Strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with accounting software, and the ability to lead and collaborate across teams are essential for this position. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards. - Ensure compliance with Ind AS / GAAP, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. - Manage GST, TDS, and other tax filings, and coordinate with tax advisors. - Supervise and mentor junior accountants; review work and provide technical guidance. - Handle fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and reconciliations. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audits. - Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and processes. - Liaise with banks, vendors, consultants, and tax authorities on financial matters. - Support Finance Manager / Head of Finance on strategic initiatives and special projects. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. - CA Inter / Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant / M.Com or equivalent. - 34 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior role. - Strong exposure to statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and audit processes. - Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis preferred. **Skills:** - Accounting software (Tally Prime, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) - Advanced Excel skills - Financial reporting and analysis - Account reconciliation - Regulatory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax) - Team supervision and mentoring - Attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.,
