About The Role:


Unified Sports is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sports Sponsorship Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying sports properties, identifying potential leads, and closing sports sponsorship deals. This position involves making sales calls, maintaining detailed records, managing client relationships, and coordinating meetings.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales and Business Development:

  • Conduct sales calls to potential sponsors to present partnership opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sponsorship properties.
  • Reach out to potential brands through LinkedIn and personal connects.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors & properties, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to partners throughout the sponsorship lifecycle.


Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sports teams, franchises, and leagues to understand their sponsorship needs and opportunities.
  • Coordinate meetings between sponsors and sports entities to facilitate partnerships.


Administrative and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sponsorship agreements in Excel and CRM systems. Ensure all sponsorship contracts and agreements are properly documented and stored.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, sponsorship pipeline, and market trends.


Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in sports sponsorship.
  • Analyze competitor sponsorship activities and strategies.



Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or sponsorship roles, preferably within the sports industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
