Position Overview

Content Creator

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop and execute content plans aligned with the organization’s sports events, academies, and CSR initiatives.
  • Create high-quality

    digital, social media, and print content

    – including articles, videos, infographics, and social media posts.
  • Generate

    engaging storytelling content

    around athletes, coaches, training journeys, community programs, and event highlights.
  • Draft

    press releases, blogs, and newsletters

    showcasing milestones, achievements, and impact stories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a consistent tone and voice across all platforms.

Digital & Social Media

  • Manage and grow the organization’s

    social media presence

    across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.).
  • Plan and execute

    content calendars

    for sports events, tournaments, and campaigns.
  • Work with designers and video editors to produce reels, highlight videos, and creative graphics.
  • Track engagement metrics and optimize content for reach and performance.

Event Coverage

  • Provide

    on-ground content coverage

    during national and international sports events and academy tournaments.
  • Capture and curate

    athlete interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, and post-event recaps

    .
  • Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and media teams for timely publication.

CSR & Impact Communication

  • Develop compelling narratives around

    CSR sports projects

    , showcasing community impact and success stories.
  • Support donor/partner communication by creating project updates, case studies, and impact reports.
  • Assist in developing presentations, brochures, and documentation for CSR reporting and brand partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in

    Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Sports Management

    , or related field.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in

    sports content creation, digital marketing, or media production

    .
  • Prior experience in

    sports organizations, federations, media houses, or CSR storytelling

    is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in using social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of

    Canva / Adobe Creative Suite

    (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator) preferred.
  • Familiarity with

    video scripting, voiceovers, and podcast content

    is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Passion for sports and understanding of various sporting disciplines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Creativity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
