Job Description

Role: Splunk Tech Lead

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 4 - 8 years

Job Brief

Provide consistent high quality technical support for customers through email, phone or other tools preferred by clients.

Communicate effectively with requestors and next level systems and service management throughout the problem management process to ensure that all communications are timely and accurate.

Follow documented support procedures; manage each issue through resolution to meet established service levels.

Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.

Should be able to guide the team to navigate through the technical complex issues

Should be able to identify technical gaps within the team and take required corrective actions.

Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.

Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.

Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.

Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer.

Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.

Providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.

Maintain technical skills through participation in ongoing training

Roles & Responsibilities:

Track and update all problems in the case tracking system ensuring that documentation is thorough, accurate and meets ticket quality standards.

Escalate incidents in a timely manner per support procedures.

Proactively monitor, recognize, analyse, isolate and/or resolve and document all applications support issues.

Should be able to identify technical gaps within the team and take required corrective actions.

Liaisons with development and Business Analysis groups in the resolution of problems and supports project schedules and changes

Should be able to work on Shifts including night shifts

Competencies For The Job:

Must have a minimum of 4 yrs exp in splunk application support for captive and hybrid environment which includes customer interaction and case management.

Hands-on Production support experience with troubleshooting in scripts like

bash, python, javascript, GitHub, FastAPI etc.

Must have good knowledge in integration methods like API, HEC, scripted inputs etc

Good knowledge of splunk integrations systems in On-Prem, Saas apps, network components and databases etc.

Good SQL , PL/SQL, SQLAlchemy etc.
