Specialist - Inventory Management

In this role as an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels across the network to ensure alignment with financial targets and entitlements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring current and projected inventory levels and identifying reasons for deviation - Participating in S&OE meetings to report inventory progression - Running inventory scenarios in Kinaxis and aligning with network planners - Setting inventory parameters for finished goods and raw materials/sub-assemblies - Leading cross-functional teams to drive inventory reduction projects - Conducting root cause analysis on pain points and recommending corrective action plans - Evaluating exceptions/scenarios in inventory based on inventory health - Tracking and taking actions to improve E&O/slow-moving inventory - Providing planning decision-making support to Network Planners and Schedulers - Maintaining inventory-related master data parameters - Generating MIS reports on inventory metrics and analysis - Working on materials management processes and driving improvement projects - Willingness to learn Kinaxis from a super user perspective Qualifications: - Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate, preferably MBA (Operations/Supply Chain/Materials/Production) with 7 to 12 years of relevant experience - CPIM, CSCP, or PMP certification will be an added advantage Skills: - Solid understanding of SIOP, Material Planning, Inventory Management, MRP, and demand/supply challenges - Proficient in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations - Hands-on exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP - Exposure to Power BI, SQL, and PowerBI query building will be beneficial - Strong communication, collaboration, networking, and presentation skills - Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills - Passionate with attention to detail,
