Specialist - Inventory Management

As an Inventory Management Specialist, your role involves closely monitoring and analyzing inventory levels across the network to ensure alignment with financial targets and inventory entitlement. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring current and projected inventory levels and identifying reasons for deviations, driving corrective actions - Participating in S&OE meetings and reporting inventory progression for visibility - Running inventory scenarios in Kinaxis based on inputs and aligning with network planners - Segmenting products for inventory planning purposes in consultation with relevant stakeholders - Setting inventory parameters for finished goods and raw materials in core systems - Leading cross-functional teams to drive inventory reduction projects and reporting monthly status - Conducting root cause analysis on pain points and recommending corrective action plans - Evaluating exceptions/scenarios in inventory based on inventory health - Working on materials management processes and driving improvement projects Qualifications: - Engineering Graduate / Preferably Post Graduate with 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in Inventory Management, Material Planning & Supply Chain Management - Preferably MBA in Operations/Supply Chain/Materials/Production - CPIM, CSCP or PMP certification would be an added advantage Skills: - Solid understanding of SIOP, Material planning, Inventory Management, MRP & demand/supply challenges - Proficiency in MS Office especially Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations - Hands-on exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP - Exposure to Power BI, SQL, and PowerBI query building would be beneficial - Technology Savviness with knowledge of Kinaxis RR - Excellent communication, collaboration, networking, and presentation skills - Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, drive for results, and influencing skills - Passionate and detail-oriented Your willingness to learn Kinaxis from a super user perspective and train materials management users as needed will be crucial for success in this role. Your demonstrated experience in working on projects with stakeholders from different geographies will also be valuable.,
