YOUR TASKS
Tax Compliance:
Assist in ensuring the organization's compliance with all applicable direct tax (corporate tax, withholding taxes on domestic and foreign payments, TDS receivables) and related regulations in India.
This includes timely filing of tax returns, handling tax audits/ assessments/ notices from the government, and managing tax-related documentation-
Transfer Pricing and related party transactions and segment/ IC Margins reporting:
Supporting in transfer pricing compliance, related documentation, and benchmarking studies to ensure adherence to transfer pricing regulations. -
Tax Accounting:
Support in tax provisioning, reporting, and disclosures in accordance with Indian accounting standards. -
Incentives from Central/ State Govt’s:
Support in the management of the claim and ensuring the fulfilment of all the related requirements/ conditions and reporting under various Central and State govt incentive schemes (PLI-Auto, PLI-LED, Other similar schemes) -
Compliance under SEZ
Ensuring the compliance of various requirements under SEZ regulations. -
Research and Analysis:
Stay updated with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry practices in India.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax issues to provide accurate and reliable advice to the management. -
Tax Advisory:
Assist in providing guidance to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters, including the tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and contracts. -
Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless integration of tax strategies into the overall financial and business planning processes.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

A semi qualified chartered accountant

At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably in a corporate setting or a reputed tax consulting firm.

In-depth knowledge of direct taxes (Corporate tax, international taxation w.r.t. withholding tax on foreign payments/ domestic transactions, transfer pricing related compliances), and working knowledge of indirect taxes (GST/ SEZ),

Familiarity with tax-related software’s; SAP ERP systems, and hands on expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including knowledge of advance MS-Excel is a must to have skill. Experience with handling of large data from different sources

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey tax-related information effectively to various stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and maintain effective working relationships.
