Founded in 1994, the Financial Management Service Foundation (FMSF) is a pioneering development

organization committed to promoting financial accountability within the voluntary sector. Since its

inception, FMSF has been dedicating its efforts to enhancing the capacities of Non-profit Organizations

(NPOs) in the areas of Financial Management, Governance, and Legal Compliance. To enhance

accountable practices in the voluntary sector, FMSF serves as a vital resource hub for NPOs. FMSF engages

with various development actors to raise awareness and provide support through training, workshops,

seminars, advisory services, publications, and web-based outreach. By continually evolving, adapting, and

offering expert guidance, FMSF plays a crucial role in strengthening the voluntary sector and contributing

to positive social impact.

Position Overview

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Communication Specialist, who will support us in leveraging digital platforms and technology to engage with a wide array of development stakeholders. The primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring smooth communication channels, executing impactful web-outreach strategies, and managing FMSF’s online presence, including social media platforms.

Job Profile

 Content & Brand Strategy – Support and execute communication plans that enhance organisation visibility and engagement.

 Content Creation – Write and manage content for blogs, social media posts, thought leadership pieces, and knowledge-sharing resources.

 Social Media Management – Plan and execute social media campaigns, staying updated on new trends.  Design communication collateral/material and maintain documentation of events/activities.

 Event & Webinar Coordination – Plan and manage both online and offline events and collaborations.

 Stakeholder Communication – Support internal and external communications, ensuring clarity and consistency.

 Create and manage instructional videos, including recording, editing, and uploading training sessions to support learners.

 Stay updated with sectoral trends and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

 Preferably post-graduation in Communications / Design or related fields

 1-5 years of experience in communication, content strategy and digital marketing

 Excellent writing & verbal skills

 Familiarity with social media, digital marketing, and content creation in the development sector.

 Ability to work with Canva, Illustrations, Photoshop and other digital tools. (video editing skillset will be an added advantage)

 Passion for social impact and storytelling.

 A team player who can multitask in a dynamic environment.
