Job Description

Role Overview: As a Communication Specialist at the Financial Management Service Foundation (FMSF), you will play a crucial role in leveraging digital platforms and technology to engage with various development stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring smooth communication channels, executing impactful web-outreach strategies, and managing FMSF's online presence, including social media platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Support and execute communication plans that enhance organization visibility and engagement through content & brand strategy. - Write and manage content for blogs, social media posts, thought leadership pieces, and knowledge-sharing resources as part of content creation. - Plan and execute social media campaigns, staying updated on new trends in social media management. - Design communication collateral/material and maintain documentation of events/activities. - Plan and manage both online and offline events and collaborations for event & webinar coordination. - Support internal and external communications for stakeholder communication, ensuring clarity and consistency. - Create and manage instructional videos, including recording, editing, and uploading training sessions to support learners. - Stay updated with sectoral trends and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Preferably post-graduation in Communications / Design or related fields. - 1-5 years of experience in communication, content strategy, and digital marketing. - Excellent writing & verbal skills. - Familiarity with social media, digital marketing, and content creation in the development sector. - Ability to work with Canva, Illustrations, Photoshop, and other digital tools. Video editing skillset will be an added advantage. - Passion for social impact and storytelling. - A team player who can multitask in a dynamic environment.
