Sous Chef - Western Cuisine

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at The Leela Ambience, with 4-6 years of experience in the culinary industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Western cuisine and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
• Develop menus and recipes showcasing expertise in Western cuisine.
• Conduct kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
• Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
• Strong knowledge of Western cuisine, including menu planning and recipe development.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and technology, including point-of-sale systems.
