Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position as a Sous Chef based in Mumbai. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in meal preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes that align with NEAT’s standards. Daily responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, assisting in food plating, and experimenting with new recipes. The role also requires managing inventory, collaborating with a team of chefs, and ensuring consistency in delivering nutritionally beneficial meals for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills, including expertise in meal preparation, recipe development, and food presentation
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations
• Organizational and multitasking skills for inventory management and team coordination
• Ability to adapt to diverse dietary requirements and create personalized nutritional meals
• Prior experience in luxury food services or fine dining is a plus
• Enthusiasm for healthy and nutritious cooking with attention to ingredient quality
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred
