Sourcing & Development Manager - EV

You will be responsible for managing the sourcing, development, and supplies of EV components. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing bidders list, sourcing schedule, and issuing RFQs/SORs to vendors. - Developing sourcing strategy and explaining it to get approval. - Preparing LOIs with requisite details and obtaining approval. - Providing commercial and development go-aheads to business partners. - Monitoring and ensuring smooth development and delivery of components as per project timelines. - Identifying global/local vendors for the introduction of new technologies and creating stiff competition to achieve aggressive cost. - Coordinating seamlessly with vendors and sub-vendors to anticipate any issues and taking proactive measures. - Interacting with different agencies within the company and with the parent company. - Following up strongly and tracking all activities related to production supply. Your qualifications should meet the following criteria: - Educational Qualification: - Essential: BE/B-Tech with minimum 60% marks in ECE, EEE, Electrical, or Mechanical. - Desirable: Worked on challenging procurement and supply chain assignments with certification courses in the supply chain area. - Experience: - Minimum: 3 years - Maximum: 6 years You should possess the following competencies: Technical/Functional: - Good understanding and development know-how of various electrical-electronic components, EV exclusive components, and semiconductor usage in automotive. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant functioning, and logistics. - Data-driven approach for analyzing and proposing strategies. - Strategic thinker for short-term and long-term solutions. - Proficiency in using MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PPT, etc.). - Thorough understanding of balance sheets and costing. Desirable qualifications include: - Know-how of design and development of electrical-electronics parts. - Experience in EV components sourcing, development, and supplies. - Automotive background, preferably with Indian/Global OEMs or reputed Tier-1 companies.,
