Sourcing & Costing Analyst

Role Overview:

• The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring rawmaterials, machinery, and services required for sheet metal/automotive manufacturing operations.
• The role requires strong analytical and cost estimation skills to support procurement decisions and ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality and timely supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials, sheet metal components, consumables, and machinery as per production requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimations for new and existing products, considering raw material, machinery, tooling, manpower, and overheads.
• Create and maintain Cost Sheets for RFQs (Request for Quotation) to support commercial negotiations.
• Interact and negotiate with customers and vendors for pricing, terms, and supply agreements.
• Analyze and calculate Machine Hourly Rates (MHR) for accurate cost projections.
• Maintain vendor relationships, evaluate suppliers, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Support management in achieving cost reduction targets without compromising on quality.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Finance teams for procurement planning and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and documentation standards.
• Keep updated with market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and industry developments relevant to automotive/sheet metal manufacturing.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial / Supply Chain or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years’ experience in Purchase, preferably in Automotive, Sheet Metal, or Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of costing, RFQs, and procurement processes.
• Practical understanding of MHR (Machine Hourly Rate) calculations.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and costing tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
