Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team and support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a creative flair in the kitchen. You will help oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain quality standards, and ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities.
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate their duties to ensure smooth workflow and service.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate in ordering and receiving supplies.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Train, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff.
• Support in menu development and cost control initiatives.
• Step in and manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or Sous Chef role.
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Creativity and passion for food, with a keen sense of taste and presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
