.In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale, cloud-native data platforms, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. You will act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, guiding them through data platform migrations, integrations, and operational improvements. This position involves hands-on architectural work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. You will influence platform adoption strategies, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and help clients achieve their business objectives through effective use of Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and related technologies. The role combines technical leadership, operational excellence, and client engagement in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment with opportunities for professional growth and innovation.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-native data platforms and solutions for managed service clients
  • Guide technical teams through data migration, integration, performance optimization, and platform automation initiatives
  • Implement best practices for platform security, governance, and compliance, ensuring scalable and robust solutions
  • Manage multiple client engagements, balancing delivery timelines, resource allocation, and platform ROI
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native data platforms
  • Strong client-facing skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders and producing detailed solution documentation
  • Expertise in enterprise data platforms, such as Snowflake, Redshift, and Azure Data Warehouse, with a focus on performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Snowflake ecosystems, including services like S3, ADLS, Kinesis, Data Factory, DBT, and Kafka
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to optimize queries, along with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitHub)
  • Experience with data integration tools such as AWS Data Migration Services, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, Fivetran, or Spark
  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical leadership, and operational management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred
  • Preferred: Snowflake SnowPro Core certification, Python proficiency for automation, and experience with automated deployment frameworks such as Flyway or Liquibase
