Job Description – Solar Department

Position: Solar Engineer / Solar Project Supervisor / Solar Technician
Department: Solar
Location: Noida
Reporting To: [Plant Head / Project Manager / Department Head]

Job Purpose

To manage and execute solar fabrication and installation projects, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery. The role involves coordination between design, production, and site teams to fabricate, assemble, and install solar structures and systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Fabrication
• Oversee fabrication of solar mounting structures, panels, and related equipment.
• Ensure drawings and designs are correctly interpreted in the fabrication process.
• Monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Installation & Site Coordination
• Supervise on-site assembly and installation of solar structures.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site supervisors for smooth execution.
• Ensure alignment, levelling, and safety standards during installation.
• Quality & Compliance
• Inspect fabricated parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to ISO/industry standards for solar fabrication.
• Maintain records of quality checks and approvals.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Support operation and maintenance of installed solar systems.
• Provide solutions for technical issues during fabrication or installation.
• Team & Documentation
• Train and guide workers/operators in solar fabrication processes.
• Maintain documentation of material usage, manpower, and project progress.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports for management review.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of solar structures, fabrication processes, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD/SolidWorks preferred).
• Hands-on experience in welding, cutting, and assembly operations.
• Knowledge of solar installation standards and safety compliance.
• Strong Knowledge of sheet metal work.
• Strong Knowledge of Cutting, Bending, Punching operation.
• Good communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI/ Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in solar fabrication or structural fabrication projects.
• Experience in solar mounting structures and installation is an added advantage.

• On-time completion of fabrication and installation projects.
• Adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Reduction in material wastage.
• Client satisfaction and project handover efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
