Solar O&M Engineer You’ll be the technical anchor for plant operations at the site level, ensuring the solar plant’s health, uptime, and compliance. You'll manage the workforce, implement SOPs, and interact with clients — all while ensuring safety, efficiency, and plant productivity. 📋 Role Snapshot Job Title: Solar O&M Site Engineer Location: Uluberia, West Bengal Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–3 Years (in Solar O&M or Electrical Projects) Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering Reporting To: Senior Project Manager / O&M Head 🔧. Key Responsibilities Lead execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance for solar power plants Supervise field technicians, vendors, and contractors to maintain uptime Troubleshoot faults in inverters, switchgear, transformers, SCBs, and AC/DC panels Monitor plant performance via SCADA/web-based platforms, and ensure data accuracy Conduct and document IR tests, thermography, string checks, IV curves, and energy audits Ensure on-site safety practices (LOTO, PPEs, permits) and compliance with Sundroid SOPs Handle spares, tools, and maintenance inventory at the site level Prepare daily and monthly technical reports, RCA, and performance insights for clients Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, OEMs, and internal teams 🎯 Skills & Technical Proficiency Proficiency with electrical diagnostics tools (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, etc.) Knowledge of solar inverters, LT/HT switchgear, transformers, and cable sizing Ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and engineering schematics Hands-on experience with maintenance checklists, incident tracking, and logbooks Strong team management and field leadership skills ✅ Bonus Points If You Have: Workman License / Electrical Supervisor Certification Experience managing multiple rooftop/ground-mounted plants Familiarity with platforms like SolarEdge, Suryalog, Webdyn, Delremo, or similar Comfortable working across rooftop, commercial, and utility-scale sites Show more Show less
