Job Title: Solar EPC - Procurement/Purchase Manager

Location: Sri City

Job Type: Full-time, Project-based / Permanent

Exp: 6 to 10 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase/Procurement Manager to manage procurement activities for a solar EPC project. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and material management specific to solar projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management:
  • Handle end-to-end procurement of solar components such as modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS, etc.
  • Ensure timely purchase and delivery of materials as per project schedule.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
  • Cost & Contract Management:
  • Negotiate and finalize purchase orders and contracts ensuring best commercial terms.
  • Monitor and control procurement budgets.
  • Material Coordination:
  • Coordinate with project and site teams to understand material requirements.
  • Track material delivery, resolve discrepancies, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, GRNs, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare periodic reports on purchase status, cost savings, vendor performance, and material availability.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) or Supply Chain / Commerce.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in procurement, preferably in solar EPC or renewable energy projects.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of solar components and supply chain.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with import/export procedures (if applicable).
  • Willingness to travel to vendor locations and project sites when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
