Solar Design Engineer

About Us

We are a growing solar solutions provider, delivering end-to-end services in solar rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid solar systems. We are looking for a skilled Solar Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to creating efficient, cost-effective, and innovative solar designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop solar PV systems (rooftop/ground-mounted) using software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, or equivalent.
• Conduct site surveys (remote/physical) to collect data for accurate system design.
• Prepare layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and 3D designs.
• Perform solar resource assessment and energy yield estimation.
• Optimize system design for cost, efficiency, and technical feasibility.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), costing, and material specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and DISCOM/CEA regulations.
• Collaborate with sales, project, and execution teams for smooth project delivery.
• Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-installation phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in solar PV system design (freshers with strong skills may also apply).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVSyst, Helioscope, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of solar PV components (modules, inverters, BOS).
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and grid regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with utility-scale projects.
• Familiarity with solar simulation tools and shading analysis.
• Knowledge of financial modeling for solar projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
