Re-Energen is looking for an experienced Solar Design Engineer / Panel Designer to join our in-house team. The role involves creating detailed 2D & 3D solar designs , technical layouts, and reports required for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects, while closely coordinating with sales and execution teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D & 3D solar layout designs for rooftop and ground-mounted projects Develop 3D visualizations, shadow analysis, and project simulations Create 360° walkthrough / video visualizations (where required) Design electrical layouts (DC & AC) including SLDs and prepare BOQ Plan solar structures, walkways, and mounting systems , including BOM Design cable routing plans, MCS layouts , and corresponding BOQs Generate technical reports including: PVsyst generation & loss analysis reports STAAD structural analysis & wind load reports Support proposal drawings, tender submissions, and execution-ready designs Coordinate with sales, site, and project execution teams for revisions and approvals Required Skills & Tools AutoCAD – Mandatory 3D software (SketchUp or similar) Working knowledge of solar system design & BOS components Experience with PVsyst & STAAD (mandatory for C&I projects) Strong understanding of solar structures, electrical layouts, and site constraints Experience Prior experience in solar design / engineering roles preferred Exposure to commercial & industrial solar projects is a strong advantage Candidates should be comfortable producing execution-level drawings , not just concepts What We Offer Opportunity to work on live residential, commercial & industrial solar projects In-house design role with long-term growth potential Professional work environment with direct exposure to execution and decision-making 📩 To apply, share your CV and sample design work at: info@re-energen.com
