Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous testing and defect identification. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and a passion for finding and resolving issues to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and test cases to ensure all software functions as designed.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug-tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
• Analyze user feedback and reports to identify potential issues and areas for enhancement.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Experience with mobile application testing (iOS and Android).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
