Software Tester / QA Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our development team in Ujjain. You will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Support both manual and automation testing processes.
• Use tools like JIRA, Postman, and Selenium for defect tracking and test automation.
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in software testing (manual or automation).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, etc.).
• Basic understanding of API testing (Postman) and database testing (SQL).
• Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of cloud-based applications or ERP systems.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
