Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Intern – QA

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and UI testing to ensure product quality.
• Use bug-tracking tools to log, document, and monitor issues until resolution.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug reported issues.
• Learn and apply automated testing practices using AI-enabled tools where applicable.
• Prepare test reports, document results, and suggest improvements for product quality.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues clearly.
• Basic knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
• Understanding of automation concepts; exposure to Selenium, JUnit, or similar tools is a plus.
• Awareness of AI-based testing tools is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (pursuing or completed) in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Freshers or up to 1 year of internship/academic project experience in QA/testing.
• Familiarity with programming basics (Python, Java, or C# preferred).
• Enthusiasm to learn modern QA practices and tools.
