Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about ensuring software quality through structured and comprehensive testing processes. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performing, reliable, and user-friendly applications. Key Responsibilities: Software Testing: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated). Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI/UX testing. Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or similar. Collaborate with development teams to diagnose issues, validate fixes, and ensure product quality. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar. Conduct performance, compatibility, and accessibility testing across multiple browsers and devices. Ensure test coverage for core functionalities and APIs. Contribute to the evolution of test strategies and QA processes for continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience: 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing life cycles, and defect management. Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing techniques. Proficiency in using test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks. Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test suites in DevOps environments. Working knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scripting or programming in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Understanding of accessibility testing and WCAG standards. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and a passion for quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
