Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing Sales Development team.
Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and activity metrics.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous feedback.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement strategies to drive qualified leads and new business opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns.
Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to ensure smooth lead handoff.
Pipeline Development
Oversee outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
Monitor and improve lead qualification processes.
Analyze sales funnel metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Process & Tools
Ensure effective use of CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot or equivalent) to track activities and pipeline health.
Implement sales automation tools and best practices for efficiency.
Provide data-driven reports to senior leadership on sales development performance.
Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs.
Train the SDR team on product positioning, value propositions, and objection handling.
