Software Quality Specialist

The Software Quality Specialist will be responsible for the software testing efforts, ensuring that all software products meet the highest quality standards before release. In addition, this role will provide post-release technical support to address user issues and help maintain software reliability. This position will be based out of the Company’s office in Trivandrum, India.

Responsibilities

·       Develops and executes individual test plans for software and firmware releases using standardized verification and validation (V&V) templates

·       Develop comprehensive test plans to outline strategy, objectives and resources required for software testing on new products or for new features

·       Create detailed test cases based on software applications and end user requirements

·       Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, collaborating with development teams to communicate issues and potential solutions

·       Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality

·       Evaluate software performance through load testing, stress testing, and scaling to ensure software performs as expected under worst case conditions

·       Timely and thorough completion of  all required documentation

·       Any other duties as required by the Company.

Qualifications

·       Diploma / bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or in a related field
