Job Title: Software Field Sales Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Software Field Sales Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, meeting with potential clients, demonstrating our software solutions, and closing sales. You will act as a key link between our company and prospective clients, helping businesses understand how our software products can improve their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demos, and consultations.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate software solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, competitors, and market trends.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Report sales activities and forecast to management using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of proven experience in software sales or IT solutions sales (field experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud solutions, or enterprise software (ERP/CRM/etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Own vehicle and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling B2B software solutions.
  • Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling approach.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth tech environment is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Incentives/Commissions: Performance-based
