Responsibilities Maintain and Design our FX trading platform. Design, build, and optimize high-performance software using modern development approaches like TDD (Test-Driven Development) and the automated test pyramid paradigm. Tackle challenging technical problems, optimizing performance and reliability. Work closely with a talented feature team to deliver end-to-end features. Review, refine, and enhance software designs while ensuring best coding practices. Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve the platform. Maintain clear, concise documentation for seamless team collaboration. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years’ experience working on large-scale software applications. Required Skills Strong proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented programming. Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with STL, multi-threading, and inter-process communication (IPC) (e.g., Unix sockets, shared memory). Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting. Commitment to TDD (Test-Driven Development) and automated unit testing. Preferred Skills Team leadership experience or potential to lead. Experience in the financial domain or knowledge of FIX protocol. Exposure to Java development. Show more Show less
