About the Job Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in backend development, API design, database management, and DevOps tools. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable and secure services that power our applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, C++, or Node.js.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC APIs with proper documentation and versioning.
Work with backend frameworks such as Flask or Django to accelerate development.
Implement API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and input validation.
Design, query, and optimize relational databases, especially using PostgreSQL.
Use Docker to containerize applications and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, frontend, QA, DevOps) to deliver quality features.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and team productivity.

Requirements

Strong experience in one or more backend languages: Python, C++, Node.js.
Proficient in backend frameworks like Flask or Django.
Practical knowledge of REST and gRPC API design and maintenance.
Understanding of API security (rate limiting, auth headers, token validation, etc.).
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
Familiarity with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Exposure to microservices architecture and service discovery patterns.
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
