Software Engineer

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, C++, or Node.js.
  
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC APIs with proper documentation and versioning.
  
• Work with backend frameworks such as Flask or Django to accelerate development.
  
• Implement API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and input validation.
  
• Design, query, and optimize relational databases, especially using PostgreSQL.
  
• Use Docker to containerize applications and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
  
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, frontend, QA, DevOps) to deliver quality features.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and team productivity.

Requirements

• Strong experience in one or more backend languages: Python, C++, Node.js.
  
• Proficient in backend frameworks like Flask or Django.
  
• Practical knowledge of REST and gRPC API design and maintenance.
  
• Understanding of API security (rate limiting, auth headers, token validation, etc.).
  
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  
• Exposure to microservices architecture and service discovery patterns.
  
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
