About the Role:
We are seeking a 
SDET (Mobile)
 with strong expertise in mobile automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building reliable test automation frameworks for 
iOS and Android apps
, ensuring smooth releases with high quality and performance. As a senior member of the QE team, you will drive mobile test strategies, implement automation best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
Role expectations
Key Responsibilities
-  Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar).
-  Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
-  Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation coverage.
-  Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
-  Ensure cross-platform compatibility and device coverage through device farms (BrowserStack, Lambda test etc).
-  Conduct performance and stability testing for mobile apps (JMeter, Gatling, Firebase Performance, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
-  Debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers to deliver high-quality releases.
-  Mentor junior SDETs and QE engineers, reviewing their code and ensuring adherence to best practices.
-  Stay up to date with emerging tools, frameworks, and trends in mobile automation and quality engineering.
 
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
-  5+ years of experience in Mobile automation (iOS and Android)
-  Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Python.
-  Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, etc.).
-  Experience in CI/CD integration of mobile automation tests.
-  Good understanding of mobile development ecosystem (Android Studio, Xcode, Gradle, Fastlane).
-  Familiarity with device farms for cross-device testing.
-  Solid grasp of QA methodologies, Agile processes, and SDLC.
-  Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

-  Experience with mobile performance testing & monitoring (Firebase Performance, Crashlytics, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
-  Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for mobile app deployments.
