Job Title: SDE 1 – Java Developer Location: Chennai / Bangalore About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and skilled Java Developer (SDE 1) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable and reliable software solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign object-oriented models and data structures for new software projects. Implement business logic and data models with effective class design. Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Recommend improvements to existing processes and propose innovative solutions to complex problems. Deliver quality solutions while taking full ownership and accountability of assigned tasks. Learn and adopt new technologies for building large-scale, performant, and sustainable systems. Collaborate with peers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the development process. Qualifications & SkillsEducation: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree. Technical Skills: Core: Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring REST APIs, Spring Security, JSP, Web Applications. Database & Caching: MS SQL Server, Redis. Security & Integration: Oauth2, jQuery. Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and their time-space complexities. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent debugging abilities. Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Good communication skills and team collaboration mindset. Strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail. Additional RequirementsSolid understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines. Prior experience in Lending, Banking, Fintech, or related domains is a plus.
