Software Development Engineer 1

Roles and responsibility -

• Design and develop robust, high-performance backend systems using Core Java, ensuring

adherence to OOPs principles and best coding practices.

• Implement multithreaded applications to optimize performance and enable parallel processing high-concurrency use cases.
• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle from system design and prototyping to

development, testing, deployment, and performance tuning.

• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance backend architecture, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop efficient solutions with a strong focus on thread-safety, memory management, and data integrity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and deliver clean efficient, and reusable code.
• Stay up to date with evolving Java frameworks, JVM tuning techniques, and industry best practice to continuously improve the system's performance and reliability.
• Establish effective logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to proactively address production issues and improve user experience.
• Set high standards in writing unit tests and conducting code reviews to ensure high-quality

deliverables.

What will make you successful?

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer science or Information Technology with Demonstrated experience of 1+ yrs in Backend Java development
• Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals object oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding on both Monolithic and Micro Services architectures. Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Micro Services components preferably using Spring Boot
• Experience with version control system such as Git & BitBucket
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Nice to have Jenkins and CI/CD Knowledge Knowledge on Postman and SoapUi
• Knowledge on build tools like Maven & Gradle
