Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and develop Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Design and develop Odoo apps (new module development and customization).
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems using APIs.
• Perform end-to-end testing and debugging of new features and customizations.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed modules and processes.
• Participate in version upgrades, patch updates, and performance tuning.
• Provide support and training to internal users when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Odoo development (Odoo v17 or higher preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Odoo's ORM, QWeb, and XML.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery.
• Understanding of business processes like Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, HR, etc.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and efficient code.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Prior experience in working with ERP systems in the retail, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu environments and basic server maintenance.
