Description
Introduction We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Software Developer who can do software development as well as Development and Operation tasks (DevOps) to join our Connectivity Operations team of IBM's Data & AI Integration and Development Organisation. We embark on develop /build software a CI/CD pipeline to support the delivery of IBM container products to our valued customers and IBM Product teams. As a Software Developer in in Connectivity Operations team, you will play a crucial role in provisioning datasources including its configurations, connection tests, setting up datasource authentication mechanism etc. Knowledge in any database management (relational /non-relational) hence is a must which will help to setup these datasources in any SaaS or On Premise environment. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who has knowledge in Cloud (IBM Cloud /AWS/ Azure..etc). You will be responsible for doing version upgrades /patching and enabling seamless continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Should know how to work with Enterprise GIT Hub. You need to know how to write and execute Linux commands. You will be collaborating with various development teams in IBM to address technical issues in data source connections, troubleshoot problems etc. The candidate should know any of script programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Your Role And Responsibilities We are looking for early hires of 3 to 4 years of IT experience in software development with knowledge in , Enterprise GitHub and version control, CI/CD Pipeline, Script programming development (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) and Linux Commands Knowledge of any automation tools like Ansible / Jenkins or Cloud Infrastructure management tool like Terraform /Go etc Knowledge in any of SQL/non-SQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, DB2 etc), working in any of these databases is an advantage. Knowledge in multi-cloud (any -IBM cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP etc) Should be good communicator Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise We are looking for candidates who have IT experience in software development with three to four (3-4 )years who have knowledge in, Enterprise GitHub and version control, CI/CD Pipeline, Script programming development (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) and Linux Commands Knowledge of any automation tools like Ansible / Jenkins Knowledge in any of Cloud Infrastructure management tool like Terraform /Go etc Knowledge in any of SQL/non-SQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, DB2 etc), working knowledge in any of these databases is an advantage.
