Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software design expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a highly motivated and collaborative team of professionals.You'll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and reliable software solutions for complex embedded systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including system, project, product, quality, and safety teams, to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments. You’ll also mentor team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and standards.You’ll specifically take care of software design, development, and testing, but also ensure effective collaboration with global teams and maintain strong links with various departments through the entire software design cycle.We’ll look to you for:
- Collaborating on the elaboration of software specifications and architecture with the software architect.
- Developing software modules, including detailed design, coding, and testing.
- Setting up the software development toolchain.
- Preparing and performing software module tests and verifications.
- Managing software work products under configuration management according to the product Configuration Management Plan.
- Supporting software/hardware integration alongside hardware designers.
- Ensuring the sustainability of software solutions.
- Contributing to standardization by reusing or implementing reusable solutions.
- Applying processes and standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.
- Experience or understanding of software development, verification, and validation of complex embedded systems.
- Knowledge of UML-based software design and software architecture concepts.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and quality processes.
- Hands-on experience with tools like MATLAB, Artisan, Control Build, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
- Knowledge of standards such as CENELEC SIL4, DO178A/B, or similar.
- Experience with communication protocols like TCP/IP or MODBUS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and decode software requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to address complex system challenges.
