As we expand, we’re seeking a hands-on Software Architect who combines technical vision with execution excellence—someone who can design and lead robust architectures while actively contributing as a developer and database administrator.

This is a fully remote opportunity to join a fast-moving, ambitious team working with cutting-edge technologies across web, mobile, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Lead Architecture Design – Own the end-to-end architecture lifecycle, from high-level design (HLD) to low-level design (LLD).

Build Scalable Systems – Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring WebFlux, with a focus on modularity, scalability, and resilience.

Enable DevOps Excellence – Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and integrate security best practices (DevSecOps).

Drive API Strategy – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs, manage integrations, and ensure seamless data exchange.

Code & Review – Actively participate in backend (Java, Node.js) and/or frontend (React) development, including reviewing pull requests and mentoring developers.

Database Leadership – Design, maintain, and optimize relational and non-relational databases, including schema design, indexing, replication, and backup strategies.

Mobile Collaboration – Work closely with mobile teams to ensure architectural consistency across platforms.

Technology Stack

Languages: Java (Spring WebFlux), JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js

Frontend: React, Next.js

Mobile: React Native (potential adoption of Flutter)

Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis

Architecture: RESTful APIs, Microservices, Event-driven Systems

Cloud & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS or GCP

Security: OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway policies, DevSecOps tools

Qualifications

Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an architecture-focused role.

Architecture Expertise: Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and reactive microservices architecture.

Spring WebFlux Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with reactive programming.

DevOps & Security: Proven track record in designing and deploying microservices, building CI/CD pipelines, and integrating security into development workflows.

Technical Leadership: Comfortable diving into code, conducting reviews, and mentoring engineers.

API-first Approach: Skilled in designing and implementing robust integration strategies.

Database Mastery: Hands-on expertise with both relational and NoSQL systems.

Mindset: Self-starter, thrives in lean teams, and embraces ownership.
