Social Media Strategist

The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing social media strategies to enhance the online presence and brand visibility of the eye hospital. The role involves creating engaging, accurate, and patient-friendly content that promotes eye care awareness, hospital services, doctors’ expertise, camps, success stories, and patient education initiatives while maintaining healthcare communication standards.

The strategist will manage all hospital social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google Business Profile, and other relevant digital channels. Responsibilities include content calendar planning, coordination with doctors, marketing, and operations teams, and timely posting of creatives, videos, reels, patient testimonials, and health awareness posts. The role also includes monitoring engagement, responding to messages and comments professionally, and ensuring quick escalation of patient inquiries to the concerned departments.

The candidate will track social media performance using analytics tools, prepare monthly performance reports, and suggest improvements to increase reach, engagement, leads, and appointment conversions. They will also support digital campaigns for eye camps, special surgeries, awareness days, and hospital events, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across platforms.

The Social Media Strategist must stay updated with current social media trends, healthcare communication guidelines, and platform algorithms while ensuring ethical and compliant medical content. Coordination with graphic designers, videographers, and external agencies will be part of the role to deliver high-quality visual and video content.
