Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Specialist to manage, grow, and engage our online community across multiple platforms. This role involves planning and executing content strategies, running paid campaigns, and leveraging social insights to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales-especially within the UK and international e-commerce markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-platform social media strategies (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging and visually compelling content, working alongside design and content teams.
- Run and optimise paid social media campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) for awareness, retargeting, and conversion objectives.
- Monitor, track, and report on KPIs, including engagement rates, follower growth, traffic, conversions, and ROAS.
- Conduct competitor research and stay updated on platform algorithm changes, new features, and social media trends.
- Engage with the online community through comments, messages, and user-generated content (UGC) campaigns.
- Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify reach.
- Support product launches, sales events, and marketing calendar activations with tailored social content.
- Use tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite for campaign management.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or Manager (preferably in e-commerce or consumer goods).
- Strong knowledge of social platforms, especially Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Experience in running and optimising paid social campaigns.
- Proficiency in content planning, caption writing, hashtag research, and basic design (Canva/Photoshop is a plus).
- Understanding of social analytics and reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly creative with strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
- A good eye for design, trends, and platform aesthetics.
- Understanding of UK market dynamics, holidays, and audience behaviour (international market experience is a bonus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Experience in Shopify, Amazon, or other e-commerce integrations.
- Previous work in a healthcare, homeware, or lifestyle niche is a plus.
