Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Growth & Community Specialist at Merfee in Mumbai. We're looking for someone who doesn't just manage social media accounts, but who truly knows the game across multiple platforms. You'll be responsible for scaling our social media presence, not just in follower count, but through meaningful engagement, likes, and a thriving community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy focused on explosive, high-quality growth. This isn't just about gaining followers it's about increasing engagement (likes, comments, saves, shares) across all key platforms.
• Community Building: Go beyond basic management to actively build and nurture genuine communities. You'll engage with our audience, respond to DMs and comments, and foster a loyal, interactive following.
• Platform-Specific Expertise: Create and guide the development of high-performing content that is native to each platform (e.g., Reels on Instagram, short-form video on TikTok, threads on Twitter). You’ll have a deep understanding of what types of content perform best on each platform.

Qualifications

• Proven Track Record of Scaling: Demonstrated experience growing social media pages from a low to high follower count with exceptional engagement rates. You should be able to show us tangible results from past projects.
• Deep Platform Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of the algorithms, trends, and best practices for key social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
• Community Building: Experience in building and managing online communities, with a focus on fostering genuine connection and brand loyalty.
• Creative & Strategic Thinker: The ability to not only create content but to think strategically about how each piece fits into a larger growth plan.
• Data-Driven: Proficiency in analyzing social media analytics and other tracking tools to measure performance and inform future strategy.
• Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with the community and collaborate with the team.
• Ability to work from our Mumbai office (this is not a remote position)
