The Social Media Platforms Manager will lead the strategic management and execution of all social media properties, ensuring platform-specific excellence while maintaining overall coherence. This role combines hands-on content scheduling and posting with strategic oversight, covering high-volume channels like Meta as well as strategically important platforms like YouTube, X, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities:

Platform Strategy: Develop and execute tailored strategies for Meta, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn to maximize audience reach, engagement, and conversion.
Content Scheduling & Posting: Oversee and manage the daily publishing calendar across all platforms, ensuring timely and error-free posting.
Creative Coordination: Work closely with the design, copy, and video teams to ensure platform-optimized content.
Ad Coordination: Collaborate with the Paid Ads Manager for platform-specific ad placements and audience targeting.
Engagement & Moderation: Monitor and respond to audience interactions and messages.
Analytics & Insights: Track KPIs for each platform, prepare reports, and adjust strategies based on performance data.
Trend Spotting: Identify emerging content trends, viral hooks, and opportunities for amplification.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with research teams for fact-based content, influencer outreach teams for amplification, and operations for workflow alignment.

Preferred Qualification:

Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related field.
Understanding of Meta Suite, YouTube Creator Studio, X content dynamics, and LinkedIn publishing tools.
Prior experience managing political or high-engagement brand pages, including managing MCMC.
Strong communication skills, with a knack for political and cultural context.

Minimum Qualification:

1 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with handling digital properties in similar industries.
Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
