Contractor Role: Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist Location: Remote | Contract | Part-Time or Full-Time Considered Salary: Upto Rs. 7,00,000 per annum We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist (Contractor) to spearhead our content and community presence across digital channels. This role is ideal for a self-motivated storyteller and content creator who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. About the Role As our Social Media & Content Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for creating and managing content that elevates the StackRoute brand, promotes our career-accelerating bootcamps, celebrates our university partners, and builds meaningful engagement within our learning communities. You’ll lead strategy and execution across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Reddit—crafting scroll-stopping visuals, short-form posts, and videos using modern design and AI-powered creation tools. Key Responsibilities Own and execute the social content calendar across all channels Design and publish high-quality, platform-native content (image, video, carousels, etc.) Write and edit copy tailored to U.S. English and aligned with unique voice Use tools like Canva, CapCut, and other AI-based platforms for content generation Create UGC-style content and short-form video that’s authentic, polished, and persuasive Monitor conversations in cybersecurity, AI, data analytics, cloud, and software dev communities—and join in on behalf. Engage with influencers, thought leaders, and prospective learners to grow brand visibility Maintain brand consistency and quality across all content and creative assets Translate high-level creative direction into tactical, multi-channel content with minimal oversight Track performance metrics and suggest optimizations based on audience behavior What We’re Looking For Proven experience managing brand social channels and content creation (portfolio or samples required) Fluent in Canva and familiar with AI design and video tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, CapCut) Strong writing skills with mastery of U.S. spelling, tone, and grammar conventions Understanding of social media trends and platform best practices in the U.S. market Ability to create video content using self-serve or mobile tools; UGC-style editing a plus Clear, visual eye for layout, design, and audience engagement Experience with B2C education, career services, or tech/bootcamp industries is a strong plus Comfortable working independently with clear deadlines and creative briefs Bonus: Experience managing paid social campaigns or social listening tools Show more Show less
