Social Media Marketing Intern

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies aligned with the company’s brand, mission, and audience goals
• Create, curate, and post engaging content for social platforms (e.g. Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook)
• Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activity; suggest content ideas based on insights
• Help with content calendars: plan posts, coordinate with content creators/designers, schedule posts
• Write copy for posts, captions, tweets etc., ensuring a consistent and on-brand voice
• Engage with the audience: respond to comments, messages, mentions under supervision; maintain community engagement and growth
• Support social media analytics: track metrics (likes, shares, follower growth, engagement), prepare periodic reports, and make recommendations to improve performance
• Collaborate with other teams (Design, Product, Content) to align creative assets, messaging, and campaigns
• Possibly help with paid social campaigns (e.g. assisting with ad setup, target audience research)

Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Familiarity with major social media platforms & what content performs well on each
• Strong written communication skills; ability to write clear, concise, engaging copy
• Basic graphic design or editing skills
• Good organizational skills: ability to plan ahead, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks
• Analytical mindset: comfort with numbers, metrics, and interpreting data to drive content and strategy decisions
• Creative thinker who can generate content ideas and adapt to feedback
• Detail-oriented, but also able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Hands-on experience creating & managing content for real social media channels
• Exposure to marketing strategy, content planning, analytics, and campaigns
