Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Social Media Manager, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing our social media strategy to elevate our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive business results. Your role will include creating compelling content, managing campaigns, and analyzing performance to continuously improve our social media impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management

  • Develop Content Calendar: Craft a monthly content calendar that aligns with our social media strategy, marketing objectives, and audience insights.
  • Create Engaging Content: Produce high-quality, on-brand content for various platforms, including text, images, videos, and stories.
  • Schedule Posts: Utilize social media management tools to plan and schedule posts for optimal audience engagement.

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our business goals.
  • Monitor Trends: Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate relevant ones into our strategy.
  • Analyze Competitors: Research competitors to identify industry best practices and integrate them into our social media approach.

Community Engagement

  • Interact with Audience: Respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
  • Build Community: Foster audience engagement through interactive content, polls, Q&A sessions, and live events.
  • Collaborate with Influencers: Identify and partner with influencers to broaden our brand’s reach and enhance engagement.

Performance Analysis

  • Track Metrics: Use analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate regular performance reports, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Optimize Content: Conduct A/B testing to refine content and posting strategies.

Campaign Management

  • Plan Campaigns: Design and manage social media campaigns to support marketing initiatives.
  • Manage Budget: Oversee social media advertising budgets, optimizing spend for the best ROI.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure unified campaign execution.

Brand Management

  • Maintain Brand Voice: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media channels.
  • Handle Crises: Manage negative comments or crises on social media professionally.
  • Monitor Reputation: Keep track of online mentions and manage the brand’s reputation.

Innovation and Learning

  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Experiment: Explore new formats, tools, and techniques to enhance social media performance.
  • Mentor Team Members: Provide training and guidance to junior team members or interns on social media best practices.

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: Relevant professional experience in social media management or digital marketing, including internships or prior roles focused on social media.

Skills

  • Communication: Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity: Ability to develop engaging and original content.
  • Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in social media analytics and metric interpretation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms, tools, and scheduling software.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and planning skills.

Certifications (Optional)

  • Certifications in digital marketing or social media management (e.g., HubSpot, Hootsuite) are advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
